Oya Inc. (collectively referred to herein as “we”, “us, “our” or “Oyalabs”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. 1.1 Your email address

  • Why we collect it: 

    • To create and support for your account

    • To communicate with you about your account, and share updates regarding our Services

    • To notify you about new features, products, and services that can enhance your use of the Services, in accordance with your notification preferences

  • How we retain it:

    • We keep your email address until you delete your account by sending an email to support@oyalabs.com

1.2 Your billing information including name, address and payment card number

  • Why we collect it: 

    • To process your payments for using certain Services 

    • To deliver goods to your address when you purchase certain products from us

  • How we retain it:

    • We process all card payments through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. It retains all information related to payment transactions according to their privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy

1.3 Device information pertaining to your smartphone

  • Why we collect it: 

    • We collect your smartphone’s unique user identifier (UUID), language settings, operating system, OEM and device model number for troubleshooting technical issues.

  • How we retain it:

    • We store all device information until the user deletes their account or sends an email requesting that information be deleted to support@oyalabs.com

1.4 Data you share with us about you and/or your child by filling in forms or quizzes on our Website or Services (Wunder - Your Parenting App)

  • Why we collect it: 

    • To provide a personalized curriculum that consists of modules and activities that are relevant to your child

    • To track the developmental progress of your child and share insights with you

    • To know when to send you reminders to do an activity with your child or to take a monthly assessment quiz

    • To track the books you log on the app to allow us to recommend suitable books for your child

  • How we retain it:

    • We store this information until the user deletes their account or sends an email requesting that information be deleted to support@oyalabs.com


2. With Whom We May Share Information We Collect

We use services provided by a number of third parties to process usage and certain device data for business intelligence and troubleshooting purposes. These third parties may use cookies, mobile device IDs or other unique identifiers to track your use of the Services. We do not share login or personal information with third-party data processors.

  • Mixpanel - User event data from the app, crash reporting, user acquisition, and retention. Their privacy policy can be found here.

  • Google Analytics - User event data from the website. Their privacy policy can be found here.

  • Amazon Web Service (AWS) - We store all the data we collect on AWS servers located in US West (Oregon) and US East (N. Virginia). Their privacy policy can be found here.

  • Facebook -  We will sometimes use your email for advertising purposes to show you relevant ads about our Products and Services. Facebook’s privacy policy can be found here.

We will not share Personal Information or Customer Data with others. 


3. Your Consent and Rights

3.1 By using our service, or visiting our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information and other activities as outlined in this policy

3.1 Delete personal data - You may delete all of your user data by requesting that your account is deleted. We will retain no record of any personal data, usage data or other information. You can contact us by sending email to support@oyalabs.com

3.2 Opt-out - You may exercise your opt-out right by notifying us if you wish to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Please send requests for such objections, access to data, correction of data, information regarding policies and practices and kinds of data held, questions or complaints to support@oyalabs.com

3.3 In the event that a User wishes to access or amend his or her personal information and data, Oyalabs may request him or her to provide personal details in order to verify and confirm his or her identity. We are required to respond to a User’s request within three (3) days of his or her request and will endeavor to do so wherever possible.

3.4 EU data subjects are granted rights under the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR). EU data subjects that wish to view, edit, delete, transfer, or otherwise restrict our use of their Personal Information should email support@oyalabs.com

4. Cookies

4.7 You can prevent Google’s collection and processing of data by using the Google Ads Settings page or downloading and installing their browser plug-in - https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

4.8 You block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our Site.


5. Data Security

5.1 All information you provide to us is stored on AWS servers in the US. The data on the server is encrypted and only accessible to our employee who is a database administrator, labeled with an anonymous ID. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone

5.2 You can access a copy of the data we have on you by sending us an email to support@oyalabs.com


6. Privacy Policy Changes

Any changes we may make to our Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted unless we advise you otherwise. However, we will not use your Personal Information or Customer Data in a way that is materially different than the uses described in this Policy without giving you an opportunity to opt-out of such differing uses.


7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the United States of America.
